It's never too early to get yourself into the Christmas Spirit, and Wichita offers a bunch of great events to celebrate early.  Nearly every day of the week in November and December, those seeking holiday cheer can easily find concerts, plays, shopping events and light displays.  Many of these events are continuing traditions, it wouldn't be Christmas in Wichita without Botanica's glowing gardens and illuminations, the competing performances of "The Nutcracker," edible housemaking at Gingerbread Village, and a Christmas show at the Crown Uptown Dinner Theatre.

  • Holiday Tables: a collection of table settings presented by area hosts.  Shopping, baked goods, holiday and home, 10 am - 4pm Nov 9th, Wichita Center for the Arts.  $10 Lunch 11:300 am to 1:30 pm.
  • Santa's Arrival at Towne West Square, parade inside the mall featuring Towne West Express, Santa and marching band starting at Dick's Sporting Goods, 1pm Nov 16th.
